Course Description
Aligned with state and national accreditation standards, this course was developed to encompass the most critical aspects and fundamentals necessary to be a competent and productive supervisor through the use of proper leadership skills. Developed for a wide-range of attendees, newly promoted supervisors, future supervisors, experienced supervisors at all ranks and field training officers will gain extensive knowledge of supervision and leadership skills through the instruction of theory, concepts and procedures combined with explanations of practical application and outcomes through experience. Course participants learning will be reinforced through scenario reviews, focused group activities and peer interactions designed to advance critical and analytical thinking skills.            
 
The topics integrated throughout this 5-day course cover leadership skills through understanding and adapting to human behaviors, delegation, communication skills, team building, conflict management, legal responsibilities, ethics, resiliency, supervising difficult employees, acceptance and handling of citizen complaints, public speaking, situational decision-making skills, evaluating the performance of employees, wellness, managing change, supervising critical incidents and mentoring subordinates.

    2026 Dynamic Supervision & Leadership 5-Day Course

    $595.00

    By accepting the terms of this course participant agreement, I acknowledge the following: Course participants are required to bring a copy of their invoice, driver’s license and law enforcement identification card to each class. All of the materials included with the course will be distributed during class. Participants agree and understand that they are responsible for the materials once they receive them and that additional materials will not be distributed. Course participants agree and understand that the instruction provided does not guarantee them a promotion, raise or benefit. Course participants agree and understand that no law enforcement policies, procedures or actions shall be taken based on the information presented during the course or based on the materials provided during the course. All course participants are encouraged to and should consult with their respective agency’s legal advisor at all times. Course participants acknowledge our NO RECORDING POLICY and fully understand that we have a strict policy prohibiting the recording, videotaping or interception of our content by any electronic, mechanical or other means throughout the entire course. Further, the course participant understands that if they violate the NO RECORDING POLICY it will result in the immediate removal and dismissal from class and forfeiture of any tuition or fees that have already been paid. Course participants agree to the STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT and prohibition against copying, sharing and distributing course materials. This includes adherence to all applicable copyright laws. Further, the course participant understands that if they violate the STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT it will result in the immediate removal and dismissal from class and forfeiture of any tuition or fees that have already been paid. While will make every attempt to keep each class at its scheduled location, time and date, the course participant understands that ESPOS Law Enforcement LLC reserves the right to change the date, time and location of the course. If a change is made, notifications will be made via email and on our website at www.esposlawenforcement.com. REFUND POLICY - Any course participant that needs to withdraw from a promotional course and is requesting a refund must advise ESPOS Law Enforcement LLC in writing prior to the start of the first class. A refund will be provided less the cost of course materials and 5% of the course tuition. Withdrawal from any 1-day or 2-day class must be completed within 10 business days prior to the first class. Please note that we will not issue a refund for any person who does not properly withdraw and does not attend. No refunds will be provided to any participant after the start of the first class. ABSOLUTELY no refunds will be issued for failure to adhere to the NO RECORDING POLICY or the STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT.
