Course Description
Created by Larry E. Holtz, Esq., and presented by ESPOS staff, this one-day, comprehensive seminar is designed to provide law enforcement officials, supervisors, instructors, juvenile officers, school resource officers, school principals and administrators with an extraordinarily valuable comprehensive review and update of New Jersey’s statutes, guidelines, policies and procedures related to Juvenile Law which is now formally cited as the “New Jersey Code of Youth Justice.” Recent developments and changes in critical aspects of Juvenile Law, Juvenile Procedure and Juvenile Justice Reform Directive will be presented, along with the case law governing this unique area of law enforcement practice.
This class provides a unique and refreshing approach to the review and update of all the new and amended laws that have changed the Code of Youth Justice, Title 2A:4A, along with a comprehensive review and update of the subjects listed below. All attendees will receive, at no additional cost, a reference manual of all the relevant Juvenile Statutes and New Jersey State Policies, Procedures, Directives and Law Enforcement Guidelines and legal topics related to this subject.

REFUND POLICY - Any course participant that needs to withdraw from a promotional course and is requesting a refund must advise ESPOS Law Enforcement LLC in writing prior to the start of the first class. A refund will be provided less the cost of course materials and 5% of the course tuition. Withdrawal from any 1-day or 2-day class must be completed within 10 business days prior to the first class. Please note that we will not issue a refund for any person who does not properly withdraw and does not attend. No refunds will be provided to any participant after the start of the first class. ABSOLUTELY no refunds will be issued for failure to adhere to the NO RECORDING POLICY or the STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT.
